“Let There Be Songs To Fill The Air”
JT Wise Band Plays Grateful Dead
"JT Wise Band performs American roots music with an expertise rarely heard". journalist Daniel Curran
The Portland guitarist JT Wise is a formidable force on guitar. He is comfortable in a variety of musical contexts including melodic roots improvisation as well as sophisticated blues rock. Preferring clean tone and conversation jamming. In the style of the great guitarists Jerry Garcia and Dickie Betts.
JT is joined by bassist and soulful singer Maggie Wise, drummer Ken Woodside and newest member in 2026 Keyboard player Byron Ady.
They perform high energy good time music with deep grooves, jam band sensibility and vocal harmonies.

Per Paul Lankow from Portland Notes "the JT Wise band captures the Grateful Dead better than anyone else in the area". Notable performance review 1/11/2019.
